Spotlight property

The enhanced visual presentation of a Spotlight property is designed to generate extra views of the listing’s full details page.
As well as appearing first on a results page that matches a given search, the listing also appears in its standard position with a standard display treatment within any relevant search results.
Win instructions by showing vendors and landlords what special treatment you are able to offer their properties.
How Spotlight property works and how to book your campaign
Spotlight property credits last for the term of the contract and are only created once.
You will be given access to an administration screen to manage the process. Simply select the property or properties you wish to appear in the Spotlight box and save. If you don’t select specific properties then your most recent instruction(s) will be used, and we will rotate the property chosen each day. We will only select properties that have been made live in the last 28 days to ensure your most relevant properties are promoted.
If you choose not to use the automatic selection process, you can swap the property that appears in the Spotlight property as often as you like.

Local area banners


By running a Local area banner campaign you can build your brand presence by advertising your business prominently in the local search results of your choice. This allows you to target home-movers as well as current or prospective vendor and landlord clients in the market.
Your banners can link through to any page you specify on your own website and you can change the creative monthly. You can choose to have separate banners for each of your branches, and separate ones for sales and lettings.
How Local area banners work and how to book your campaign
Local area banner campaigns are sold for periods of 1 month duration and for an initial minimum period of 3 months.
Banner creatives should be provided to OnTheMarket in 3 sizes so that they can be displayed on all devices:
- Mobile: 270 (w) x 90 (h) - Maximum file size 64kb
- Tablet: 534 (w) x 104 (h) - Maximum file size 128kb
- Desktop: 800 (w) x 120 (h) - Maximum file size 128kb
All files should be in JPEG format.
Separate banners can be provided for each branch and separate banners for sales and lettings.
Once received, the banners will be reviewed by one of our team to ensure they meet advertising standards.
Banner creatives may be changed once each month.

A Property alert banner campaign gives you the benefit of showcasing your brand and message to a valuable audience of property-seekers who are searching in your local area and have registered to receive property alerts from OnTheMarket.com when new relevant properties come onto the portal.
It is another way to achieve differentiation and stand-out and to demonstrate to vendors and landlords what special treatment you are able to offer in the presentation of their properties.
Property alert banners are linked to specific saved search terms for property alerts.
Only one banner will appear on any alert and you can change the creative each month. You can choose to have separate banners for each of your branches, and separate ones for sales and lettings.
How Property alert banners work and how to book your campaign
Property alert banner campaigns are sold for periods of 1 month duration and in batches of 1,000 emails, for an initial minimum period of 3 months.
Banner creatives should be provided in the following size:
Email - 575 (w) x 102 (h) pixels in JPEG format and no larger than 64kb.
Separate banners may be provided for each branch and separate sales and lettings banners can also be provided.
Banners will be viewed by our team to ensure they meet advertising standards.
Banner creatives may be changed once each month.
