What is the Performance comparison report?

If you’re a new homes developer, the Performance comparison report can be found under the Reports menu when viewing a development. Note, if you have company access you will need to navigate to a specific development to see this option.

This report is specific to each development and compares your development’s own share of leads and views, to the area and criteria selected in the filters. This is based on an average number of leads and views per property over the date range of the report.

The report can be filtered on the following items:

Sectors: The results will be calculated based on properties listed in the sectors chosen. By default we preselect the sector of the development but this can be expanded if desired. It will only impact the comparison area, the development performance will remain constant.

Date: The default is three months but can be changed. This will look at the dates the property was available and the dates a lead or view was recorded.

Group By: Three options available which will affect how the results are grouped.

Property type: Performance will be grouped by the property type, for example how well houses performed against other houses in the area.

Bedrooms: Results will be grouped by bedrooms for example how well 1 bed, 2 bed and 3 bed properties performed against the equivalent in the area.

Price ranges: Performance will be grouped by price ranges. It’s important when choosing this option to also select the ranges required. When choosing this option, the price filter will change to be price ranges and it’s possible to set the range of prices you wish to group by. For example, look at the performance of properties within the ranges £300k-£400k, £400k-£500k, £500k-600k.

Bedrooms: Filter the results to be for a specific bedroom range.

Property types: Filter the results to be for a specific property types.

Price/Price ranges: If grouping by property type or bedrooms, it’s possible to filter based on a single price range. If grouping by price, ranges will need to be set so the report can group performance on these ranges. We recommend that you have at least three ranges set when grouping by price.

Our Supply & Demand tool is a good report to reference alongside the performance comparison.
