Property labels explained
There is no limit to the number of property labels that will appear on a property’s full details page at OnTheMarket. However, where a property listing appears within the search results (in list view) it is limited to showing a maximum of three labels there, due to space. We currently display the below labels:
Added today, Added yesterday, Recently added
When any instruction (property or plot) is first sent to us to list at OnTheMarket, we add an Added today label which will change to Added yesterday on day two of being live. From day three, a Recently added label will be applied to the listing for the remainder of 72 hours.
Reduced today, Reduced yesterday, Reduced
If an instruction is reduced in price and the reduction meets our threshold, we add a Reduced today label on day one, and Reduced yesterday on day two. Reduced then remains on the listing for 14 days and can be removed from a property listing if requested.
Let agreed, Under offer, SSTC, SSTCM, Reserved
If an instruction is published to us with one of the above unavailable statuses within the dedicated Status field, we add the label that matches that status. After an industry standard period of time, an unavailable listing will be removed from property search result pages, even if the user has opted to include unavailable properties within their search results.
First home scheme
Residential property types have their features list, summary description and main description searched for certain keywords. If a positive match is found for “First Homes Scheme”, the listing will receive a First Homes Scheme label.
Cash buyers only
Residential property types have their features list, summary description and main description searched for certain keywords. If a positive match is found for “Cash Buyers Only”, the listing will receive a Cash Buyers Only label.
Virtual tour
Residential property types will receive a Virtual tour label where they have a 3D or Virtual tour uploaded to the listing.
Chain-free
Residential property types have their features list, summary description, and main description searched for certain keywords. Our preferred keyword is “chain-free”, but we also search for “no onward chain” and “without chain”. We would exclude cases followed by “buyer”. If a positive match is found the listing will receive a Chain-free label.
We also have labels available for purchase. For further information on our Premium Display and Development Display products, please contact your Business Development Consultant or email us at products@onthemarket.com.
