SmartMail: FAQ

I don't have access to SmartMail, how do I get this?

If you have signed a contract already but still do not have access to SmartMail within OnTheMarket Expert, please call Technical Support on 0808 1202 877 (option 3) or email support@onthemarket.com.

 

Where do custom templates appear and are they editable?

You will need to contact us at support@onthemarket.com to specify where you would like your templates to appear (for example in off market mailouts or letters), and specify whether you would like particular templates to be editable.

 

Can you edit all templates?

Within the Landlord Prospecting and Sales Anniversaries sections, there is a variable template which you can customise. If there are additional templates you would like to customise, please email 

 

Will QR codes show up on custom templates?

Yes, QR codes are active regardless if it is a custom template or not.

 

What does the QR code generate?

It produces a light version of the Market appraisal guide, with reduced content.

 

How do I deselect addresses to mail out to?

Select Mail or X to either select or deselect all properties in a trigger. If you’re unsure what selection you’ve chosen, switch the toggle whilst watching the mailing and total cost change.

 

How do I upload images for my marketing materials?

Under Admin select Image Library and select upload on the landing page.

 

Where can I view my templates?

Under Admin select Templates.

 

How can I remove an address from a mailout?

Click the small + button next to an address and select either:
1. Remove from Triggers (indicates removing them from all future mailouts)
2. Do not mail (removes them from the current mailout)

 

How long does it take for a mailout to be completed?

Typically 5 working days.

 

Where does the data come from?

SmartMail data comes from whole of market, utilising data from Land Registry and the Electoral Register.

 

What information can be downloaded via the Print in branch option?

Reduced, Withdrawn and Cancelled triggers.

 

How many outcodes can I have per branch?

Up to 10 per paying branch. You don’t have to use all 10, and you can swap them out should you want different outcodes.

 

If I change or add outcodes, how long before the data to be pulled in once they’ve been applied to the account?

24 hours.
