Realtime vs. BLM feeds explained
Uploading properties to OnTheMarket can be done via a free manual upload tool within OnTheMarket Expert, or via a feed provider where you’ll enter the property details into your feed software and your software will automatically send your properties to us. Each office using a property data feed will require a unique Feed ID which will either be supplied by us or by your feed provider (depending on their preferences). There are three types of property data feed:
BLM (Bulk Load Mass)
Follows the RM BLM v3.5.1 specification (generally scheduled 1-4 times a day)
RTDF (Real Time Data Feed)
Follows the RM RTDF v1.3.3 spec (typically processed in 10-15 minutes)
V4N (New home builders)
Follows the RM v4.0n specification (generally scheduled once per day)
Please note…
There are dozens of feed providers available, therefore if you’re considering moving to a feed software we recommend you evaluate your requirements and research which provider offers the best solution for you.
If you’re on a BLM feed or thinking of switching to a RTDF please email us at support@onthemarket.com and we’ll see if we can get you switched over.
